A RECENT VIDEO OF A NIGERIAN WOMAN IN SAUDI ARABIA CALLING FOR HELP

Our attention at ACLN has been drawn to a video posted online of an helpless Nigerian lady in Saudi Arabia. This woman was specifically seen waving her pains on the social media where she recorded herself seriously pleading for help for her evacuation and others in the same predicament to Nigeria.

The woman was so bitter and groaning regrettably about her sojourn, as well as the ugly situation, which she complained to be taking her life gradually at that instance in Saudi Arabia. While she did not declare her specific location in the video probably for the fear of her life, this situation has become a botheration and points to the need for the government of

Nigeria to quickly rise to the occasion and investigate the story of this poor woman in the circulating video of herself. It should be noted that the woman specifically mentioned, that she and others in the same shoes have been calling the Nigerian Embassy in Saudi Arabia for help but to no avail.

This is particularly worrisome to us and we could only wonder why the Nigerian Embassy at Saudi Arabia chose to turn deaf ears to such a distress call from her citizens abroad, regardless of what has brought them to diaspora.Having seen many neglects and struggles of some stranded

Nigerians abroad, we are really concerned and believe there is an urgent need for Nigerian Embassies around the world to undergo reforms that will equip and enlighten all its staffs of their responsibilities to protect Nigerian citizens within the confines of the law, among all other things.

Thus, we at ACLN hereby call on the Nigerian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Nigeria, Ministry of External Affairs, and every other parastatal of Buhari led administration saddled with the responsibilities of protecting Nigeria and Nigerian interest abroad, to re-consider their oaths of office and be of quick rescue to the moribund citizens abroad, especially the ones in Saudi Arabia at this time. The help given on time would save a life.Signed
